Malaysia set to make three friendly matches with English Premier League teams on July. The three matches are between Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Malaysia vs Arsenal

 Arsenal are a team which has been playing some sublime football of late and it will be another start to the Pre season campaign as the go into the very tough and hard season where they will have to compete against the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, United, City and Tottenham on all fronts for the silverware and their task might be made even more difficult as they might be without two of their best players next season with the likes of Febregas and Nasri looking to move the clubs.

IT will be interesting to see how this match goes about, Arsenal are team who use to play pretty football but they have not won a trophy since 2005 when they won the FA Cup last time and they will have to do something about it to win the trophy. Malaysia vs Liverpool


After loosing to Arsenal in the first EPL Asian Tour 2011, Malaysia has performed well in the 1st half. They have managed to draw 1-1, after a stunning equalizer from Malaysia’s captain, Safiq, canceling a penalty goal by a newly bought player, Charlie Adam.

In the second half, Malaysia shown a neat display at the early stage, but were caught with two goals from Ngog and one from Maxi Rodriguez. However at the later game, Safee Sali managed to pull two goals with his 1st goal given goal by goalkeeper while the 2nd goal a neat finish after managed to escape from offside trap. At the injury time, Maxi Rodriguez and Dirk Kuyt increased the goal difference, and with that the result for the game is Malaysia 3 and Liverpool 6.

Malaysia vs Chelsea

The Blues visiting Malaysia? Yes they are coming to Malaysia this July 2011. There will be a friendly match between Malaysia vs Chelsea FC.

This is the one of Chelsea Asia Tour 2011 programme. Carlo Ancelotti will be taking his squad to play in Bangkok, Thailand as a leg of the tour.

Return to the flashback in 2008, Malaysia XI lost to Chelsea FC 2-0. The 2008 match took place in the Shah Alam Stadium in front of 60,000 fans. Current interest in Chelsea from Malaysia is such that only Indonesia and the United Kingdom provide more Facebook fans on the club’s official page.
